I agree with Heike.
The previous image I like much more.
Mainly because the colors seem too gaudy for my liking.
Especially makeup: It is adding by subtracting.
Here I notice particularly the cheeks to negative. Just way too exaggerated.
However. It depends on the context.
In a similar environment with suitable clothes, it is something else.
But as a portrait it is unconvincing.
